Mengchuan Fu

Mengchuan Fu is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance at Bentley University, located in Morison Hall 304. His research lies at the intersection of fintech, corporate finance, and machine learning, with a particular focus on initial public offerings (IPOs), corporate social responsibility (CSR), and predictive analytics in financial markets.

Research Interests:

• Fintech innovation and its impact on corporate finance
• Machine learning applications in predicting IPO outcomes
• Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosures and firm performance
• Economic uncertainty, corruption, and firm-level risk

Across his recent publications, Fu leverages advanced machine learning techniques to uncover drivers behind IPO survival, first-day returns, and failure risk. His work also examines how CSR initiatives and ESG transparency influence long-term firm value and investor perceptions.
