Melody Mayo

Dr. Melody Mayo is an Assistant Professor of Education and Director of Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) and College Counseling and Student Affairs (CCSA) Programs at the College of Education and Human Performance, Southern Arkansas University. She holds a B.B.A. (2002), M.Ed. in Secondary Education (2007) from Southern Arkansas University, and an Ed.D. from Walden University (2018).

Her research focuses on educational leadership, student development, curriculum design for adult learners, and the administration of counseling programs in higher education settings.

She contributes to graduate education through program development and institutional initiatives focused on improving student outcomes and professional training.
