Melody Faux

Dr. Melody Faux is Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Southern Maine's School of Nursing within the College of Science, Technology, and Health. She holds a DNP from Purdue University Global (2019), MSN from University of Southern Maine (2007), and AS in Nursing from University of Maine at Augusta (2001). Her clinical background includes labor/delivery nursing, public health, pediatrics, and college health settings at Bowdoin College and University of New England.

Her research focuses on eating disorders screening, particularly among male athletes, stemming from her doctoral clinical practice project. She integrates extensive primary care experience into nursing education.
