Melody Denhere

Melody Denhere is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Mary Washington (College of Arts and Sciences). She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Zimbabwe and a Ph.D. from Auburn University.

• Research focuses on statistical modeling, functional data analysis, and computational mathematics
• Collaborates with Naval Surface Warfare Center at Dahlgren on undergraduate research projects

Her recent work includes robust estimation techniques for functional linear models and generalized functional linear models, presented at major conferences like the Joint Mathematics Meetings and Joint Statistical Meetings. She contributes to advancing statistical methodologies with applications in computational and applied mathematics.
