Melissa Roderick

Melissa Roderick is the Herman Dunlap Smith Professor at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. She co-directs the Chicago Consortium on School Research and specializes in the critical transitions from high school to college and urban education reform. Her work combines qualitative and quantitative methods to address dropout prevention, grade retention, and summer program efficacy.
