Dr. Melissa Mecadon-Mann is an Assistant Professor at the College of Education and Allied Professions at Western Carolina University. Her work bridges K-12 education advocacy, trauma-informed counseling, and social-emotional learning through music. She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Auburn University, alongside degrees in music education (BM, Millikin University) and professional counseling (MAED, University of West Georgia).
