Melanie Walters

Melanie Walters is an Instructor in the Department of English at Southeast Missouri State University. She teaches English Composition (EN100), Fiction & the Human Experience (LI220), and Variety of Literature (LI256). Her scholarly work includes publications on Toni Morrison's fiction in 'The Fiction of Toni Morrison: Reading and Writing on Race, Culture, and Identity' and undergraduate research in 'Scholars: The McKendree College Journal of Undergraduate Research'.

Her academic focus includes composition pedagogy, literary analysis, and examinations of race and identity in American literature. She maintains office hours at Grauel 220 and can be reached at mlwalters@semo.edu.
