Melanie Day

Melanie Day is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Edith Cowan University. She also serves as the Clinical Placement Co-ordinator for all placements and the Occupational Therapy Paediatric Clinic Co-ordinator at the ECU Health Centre in Wanneroo. Her professional background includes extensive work in developmental and community paediatrics before joining ECU.

• Qualifications: Graduate Certificate of Academic Practice (ECU, 2022); Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (Curtin University, 1997).

Her research interests focus on clinical education and paediatric occupational therapy practices. She has received recognition for her contributions to learning programs, including the 2019 Vice Chancellor's Award. Melanie oversees key educational and clinical initiatives, bridging academic and practical aspects of occupational therapy training.
