Meinrad Busslinger is a Professor at the University of Vienna and Senior Scientist at the Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) in Vienna since 1987. He was elected as a Member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) in 1990 and the Academia Europaea in 2000, and received the Wittgenstein Prize in 2001. His career includes leadership roles such as Scientific Deputy Director of the IMP (2013) and Director of Academic Affairs at the IMP (2007).
