Mehrtash Harandi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University. He joined Monash in 2018 after five years at Canberra Research Laboratory-NICTA working with Prof. Richard Hartley and Prof. Fatih Porikli, and earlier at Queensland Research Laboratory-NICTA with Prof. Brian Lovell. His research focuses on machine learning, computer vision, and geometric learning with applications in medical imaging and diffusion models.
