Mehmood Rashid, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine, where he serves as Director of the Movement Disorders Fellowship Program and Staff Neurologist since 2014. He completed his medical education at Dhaka Medical College (Bangladesh), residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center, and dual fellowships in Movement Disorders (University of Toledo) and Neurotology/Otoneurology (University of Michigan). His clinical focus includes dizziness, imbalance, ataxia, and Parkinson's Disease, with a strong emphasis on medical education and clinical research.

Rashid holds certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (2014) and has received academic honors including 5th position on the Dhaka University merit list for his M.B.B.S. exams (2002) and honors in Pathology and Microbiology. He has contributed to peer-reviewed journals like BMC Med Educ and presented posters at the American Academy of Neurology meetings.
