Mehmet GENÇ

Prof. Dr. Mehmet GENÇ is a full-time Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Doğuş University, specializing in Public Law, European Union Law, and Human Rights. He has held significant administrative roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Law at Uludağ University (2006–2008) and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Doğuş University (2019–2022).

• Education: PhD and MA in Law from Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg (Germany), BA in Law from Ruhr University Bochum (Germany).

His research focuses on Public Law, EU Law, and Human Rights, with publications addressing the legal and institutional structure of the European Communities, competition law, and the implications of EU membership. He has supervised numerous Master’s and PhD theses, including works on NATO relations, EU accession criteria, and international river rights.
