Mehdi Sadeghilalimi

Mehdi Sadeghilalimi is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Regina, Faculty of Science. He specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Optimization, and Computer Networks, with expertise in applying metaheuristic algorithms to combinatorial problems.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Regina, an M.Sc. in Computer Networks from Islamic Azad University, and a B.Sc. in Information Technology Engineering.

His research integrates nature-inspired computing with practical challenges in healthcare scheduling, resource allocation, and network optimization. Recent work focuses on evolutionary approaches for nurse rostering and technician dispatch systems.
