Meghan Talarowski is a Lecturer in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. She is the founder and executive director of Studio Ludo, a design firm specializing in play environments. Holding a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, she is a licensed landscape architect and a certified playground safety inspector through the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA).
Her research focuses on how play environments influence physical health and social behavior, with data collected from over 60,000 individuals across 100 global sites. This research informs her design work, which includes over 30 destination play environments in the U.S. and safety guidance for 40+ installations and children’s museums worldwide. She teaches studio courses on play and landscape design at the University of Pennsylvania and trains professionals in playground safety.
