Meghan R. Lewis

Dr. Meghan R. Lewis, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor (Part-Time) in the Department of Surgery at the University of Southern California. Her research focuses on trauma surgery, surgical outcomes, and critical care medicine, with extensive work in thoracic trauma, pelvic fractures, and traumatic brain injury management.

Her research interests include optimizing surgical techniques for thoracic and abdominal trauma, investigating complications of resuscitative endovascular procedures, developing nutritional interventions for neurotrauma patients, and improving VTE prophylaxis protocols in critical care settings. Her work integrates clinical practice with evidence-based surgical innovation.
