Meghan Licon

Meghan Licon serves as the Interim Associate Director of the Ronald McNair Program and holds the rank of Teaching Professor of Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is affiliated with the Languages Department and the Latin American and Latinx Studies Program within the College of Arts and Sciences.

Education:

• B.A. in Spanish and German from St. Norbert College
• M.A. in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison

Her research and teaching focus on:

• Spanish language pedagogy
• Latin American and Latinx cultural studies
• Race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality studies
• Interdisciplinary connections between visual arts and literature
