Meghan Elliott

Meghan Elliott serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Architecture, teaching Historic Building Conservation while leading her firm Preservation Design Works (PVN) focused on innovative historic building redevelopment. Her dual expertise bridges structural engineering and architectural preservation within the College of Design.

Her educational foundation includes:

• Undergraduate degrees in Civil Engineering and Studio Art from Rice University
• Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley as a National Science Research Fellow

Elliott's research centers on sustainable conservation methodologies for historic structures, integrating engineering precision with architectural heritage values. She specializes in structural rehabilitation techniques that comply with Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards (36 CFR Part 61) while advancing preservation engineering practices through practical application.
