Megha Sharma

Megha Sharma, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in Neonatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She is affiliated with the Department of Pediatrics—Division of Neonatology and serves as the site principal investigator for three randomized clinical trials optimizing outcomes for extremely premature infants. Her research focuses on neonatal lung vascular physiology, preventing iatrogenic blood loss in preemies, and long-term outcomes of infants with birth defects. She is part of UAMS’s Implementation Science Research Program, applying evidence-based practices to clinical care.
