Megan Volpert

Megan Volpert serves as part-time Adjunct Faculty in the MFA Writing program at Reinhardt University's College of Humanities, Sciences, & Technology and concurrently holds a part-time Assistant Professor position in Interdisciplinary Studies at Kennesaw State University. She is also a Fellow at the American Institute for Philosophical and Cultural Thought and Director of Insights for Halo Media.

Her research traverses popular culture through interdisciplinary lenses, blending philosophy with music criticism, television analysis, queer theory, and creative writing. Notable projects include anthologizing philosophical examinations of cultural phenomena like Tom Petty's music and RuPaul's Drag Race, establishing her as a cross-disciplinary scholar.

Volpert's creative-academic output includes 15+ books recognized with significant honors:
