Megan Muthupandiyan

Megan Muthupandiyan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Writing, Language & Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Her office is located in Swenson Hall 3041, and she can be reached at 715-394-8212 or mmuthupa@uwsuper.edu.

Her research bridges environmental writing, pilgrimage studies, and public humanities. She founded the Poetry in the Parks project, creating collaborative poetry films that explore connections between art and natural landscapes. Her work examines ecological conversion through phenomenological practices and pilgrim culture.

Recent publications explore poetic phenology and ecological spirituality, with consistent themes of nature interconnectedness. Her scholarly output spans poetry collections, peer-reviewed articles, and book chapters that integrate literary arts with environmental consciousness.
