Megan Moore is Professor of French and Catherine Paine Middlebush Chair of Romance Languages at the University of Missouri, where she chairs the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. Her research examines medieval Mediterranean literature through feminist, ecocritical, and cyborg theory frameworks.
Current projects explore representations of disability in medieval romance and transnational love in world literature. Her book 'The Erotics of Grief' received honorable mention for the MLA Scaglione Prize. Research collaborations include European Research Council projects on fiction diffusion across Mediterranean cultures.
Teaching spans French feminism, Mediterranean migration, and cyborg theory, with extensive graduate mentorship and study abroad program leadership in Lyon.
