Megan E. Heenehan

Megan E. Heenehan is a Professor and Department Chair of Mathematical Sciences at Eastern Connecticut State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Wesleyan University and a B.A. in Mathematics with a Computer Science minor from Wellesley College.

Her research focuses on Graph Theory, specifically graph immersions, and extends into Network Science and Mathematics Education. Recent publications explore graph products, cancer genomics, and educational technologies like WeBWork. She mentors undergraduate research, including network analysis projects.

Teaching interests include Graph Theory, Discrete Mathematics, and Mathematics for Teachers. In 2018, she co-led a summer research institute analyzing movie scripts via network science.
