Dr. Meg Jones is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Innovation at Champlain College. They hold a PhD in Education from the University of Rhode Island and have over ten years of experience as an educator, including roles as an elementary teacher, technology integration coach, and professional development facilitator.
Their research focuses on preservice teacher education, social justice and inclusion in PK-16 education, literacy, and qualitative research methods. Dr. Jones employs critical pedagogical approaches inspired by bell hooks, Judith Butler, and Paulo Freire, prioritizing student empowerment through engaged pedagogy.
