About
Md Salauddin Rasel is a Research Fellow at the School of Engineering, University of Limerick. He holds a PhD in Energy Harvesting from Kwandong University (2019) and served as an Assistant Professor at East Delta University (2020–2023). His postdoctoral research (Dublin City University, 2023–2024) focuses on advanced energy systems.
Research interests center on vibration energy harvesting, wearable electronics, and self-powered sensors. He explores electrospinning for nanomaterial fabrication, triboelectric nanogenerators, and IoT energy management. His work spans marine energy systems, optical fiber communication, and low-power electronics.
Publications highlight innovations in ocean wave harvesting, wearable sensors, and energy-autonomous systems. Collaborations include teams in nanotechnology, renewable energy, and biomedical applications. Current projects emphasize real-world deployment of energy-autonomous devices and sustainable power solutions.
