Mazin Al-Hamando

Mazin Al-Hamando serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science within the College of Arts and Sciences at Lawrence Technological University. He joined in January 2003 as an adjunct professor while maintaining senior consulting roles in enterprise computing and web technologies across U.S. industries, transitioning to full-time faculty status in August 2016.

His educational credentials include:

• Ph.D. in Design Data Management from The Pennsylvania State University
• M.S. in Industrial & Management Systems Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University
• M.S. in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University
• Bachelor of Architecture from Baghdad University

Research focuses on machine learning and data mining applications in engineering disciplines, Web Technologies, Data Taxonomies and Ontologies, and Software Engineering. He has developed new curriculum in software engineering, web applications, and intelligent systems.
