Mayssam Nehme

Mayssam Nehme is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Primary Care Medicine (SMPR) of the University of Geneva, affiliated with the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG). She joined HUG in 2016 after training in internal medicine in the United States and completed a Master's degree in Global Health at the University of Geneva in 2017.

• Responsible for large-scale cantonal projects like COGERIA (frail elderly care) and SPECCHIO (population health monitoring)
• Coordinated CoviCare, an outpatient SARS-CoV-2 monitoring system during the pandemic
• Established Geneva's post-COVID consultation and participated in national task forces

Appointed assistant physician in charge of the Population Epidemiology Unit as of October 1, 2024.
