Professor Maxine Whittaker is an Honorary Professor at the School of Public Health, University of Queensland. Her research focuses on public health systems, malaria elimination strategies, and One Health approaches, with extensive work in the Asia-Pacific region.
Her research interests include health systems strengthening, community engagement in disease control, intersectoral collaboration for vector-borne diseases, and health information systems in low-resource settings.
