Max Tookey

Dr. Max Tookey is a Lecturer in Research Methods, Management, and Psychology at the London College of Fashion (LCF), part of the University of the Arts London. He holds a PhD from the University of East Anglia (UEA) on academic staff Psychological Contracts and is completing a Master’s in Academic Practice at UAL. Previously, he taught at institutions including University College Cork, Bath, UWE, and Greenwich, with experience in Occupational Psychology.

Research focuses on organisational careers in creative industries, pedagogical innovation in higher education, workplace ethics, and consumer behavior. He has published in peer-reviewed journals on career-related and ethical workplace behavior.

Awards include Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and teaching accolades, alongside a counselling qualification. He has supervised doctoral-level research and advocates for ethical practices in academia and industry.
