Max Ritts

Max Ritts is an Assistant Professor of Geography at Clark University, focusing on environmental geography, sensory studies, and Indigenous communities. He holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia (2018), an MA from the University of Toronto (2010), and a BA from McGill University (2005). His research explores intersections of social power, sensory practices, and ecological change in Indigenous contexts, particularly with the Gitga’at First Nation in British Columbia.
