Max Mauro

Dr. Max Mauro is a Senior Lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies at Bournemouth University. His research focuses on media and representation, sporting spectacle, processes of racialization, and migration studies. He is an expert in analyzing intersections between sports, media discourse, and national identity.

• Author of books on migrant youth and football in Italy and Ireland
