Max Lieblich is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Washington. His research focuses on algebraic geometry with an arithmetic emphasis, though he has also explored computer vision. He holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2004).
He co-authored the book *What determines an algebraic variety?* (Princeton University Press, Annals of Mathematics Studies). His work is supported by NSF grant DMS-1901933, and he received Simons Foundation support during the 2018-2019 academic year. Contact: lieblich@uw.edu, PDL C-138 office.
