Max Ignas is a trumpet player and teacher based in Boston, currently serving as the Visiting Lecturer of Trumpet at Salem State University. He performs extensively across the United States, with notable engagements in both contemporary and Baroque music ensembles.

Research and Performance Focus: Max specializes in expanding the trumpet's aesthetic portfolio through collaborations with composers, premiering works for solo trumpet, electronics, and diverse ensembles. His repertoire spans new music and Baroque performance traditions.
Performance Highlights: He has performed with the Boston Philharmonic, Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Royal Hawaiian Band, and as lead trumpet in the Diamond Head Theatre.
