Max Bazerman is the Jesse Isidor Straus Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School (HBS) and Co-Director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School. His research focuses on decision-making, negotiation, and public leadership, with a recent emphasis on behavioral ethics and research integrity. He has authored over 200 articles and books, including The Power of Noticing (2014) and Blind Spots (2011). His 2025 article in Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics addresses systemic fraud in social sciences. Bazerman has received prestigious awards such as the Academy of Management’s Distinguished Educator Award and an honorary doctorate from the University of London. He is a globally engaged educator and consultant, having worked in 30 countries. His affiliations include the Women and Public Policy Program and the Center for Public Leadership.
