Mauro Fianchini

Dr. Mauro Fianchini is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), where he focuses on developing green catalytic approaches using immobilized species and advancing control/automation in catalytic flow processes. Previously, he participated in the COFUND Severo Ochoa program at ICIQ, specializing in computational homogeneous catalysis.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington (United States)
• B.Sc. + M.Sc. (Laurea Vecchio Ordinamento) in Chemistry from Università di Camerino (Italy)

Research Interests: Green chemistry, catalysis, computational modeling, flow process engineering, and sustainable chemical technologies. His work bridges theoretical simulations with practical applications for renewable energy and molecular medicine.
