Maurizio Fauri

Maurizio Fauri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trento. He holds a Laurea in Ingegneria Elettrotecnica from the University of Padova (1983) and completed postgraduate studies in Plasma Engineering and Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion. His career includes positions at the National Research Council (CNR) and faculty appointments at the University of Padova before joining the University of Trento in 2001.

His research focuses on energy systems, including renewable energy, smart grids, and electrical infrastructure. He serves as Vice President of the Italian Electrotechnical Association (AEI) for Trentino Alto Adige and represents the Italian Lighting Association (AIDI) in the region.
