Maurilio Pirone

Maurilio Pirone is a Junior Assistant Professor (fixed-term) in Political Philosophy at the Department of the Arts, University of Bologna. He specializes in platform capitalism, labor transformations, and digital technology impacts on work. His research integrates political philosophy and economic sociology, with a focus on metropolitan unionism and social movements.

He participates in Horizon Europe’s INCA project (corporate accountability) and COST Action P-WILL (platform work inclusion). Previously, he contributed to the PLUS project on platform labor.
