Maurice Stevens is a Professor in the Department of Comparative Studies at The Ohio State University and serves as Associate Dean for Engagement in the College of Arts and Sciences. They also act as Faculty Director of the STEAM Factory and hold an adjunct position at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Stevens employs critical trauma theory and transformative pedagogies to explore intersections of identity, embodiment, and institutional structures.
Education includes a B.A. in Religion and Anthropology from Princeton University, and M.A./Ph.D. in History of Consciousness from UC Santa Cruz.
