Maureen A Farrell is a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow's School of Education. She holds a PhD in Culture and Identity in Scottish Children's Fiction. Her roles include Course Leader for PGDE programmes, Programme Leader for the MEd in Children's Literature and Literacies, and previously served as Director of Partnerships overseeing £500,000 in Scottish Government funding for teacher education. She also consults for the Scottish Poetry Library and contributes to academic bodies like the International Research Society for Children's Literature.
