Matthijs Janssen

Matthijs Janssen is an Assistant Professor at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development within Utrecht University's Faculty of Geosciences. He specializes in innovation policy and strategy, with a focus on industrial policy, transitions, mission-oriented innovation policy, and smart specialization. Additionally, he works as a Principal Scientist at Dialogic Innovation & Interaction, leading policy evaluation projects for public authorities including the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, European Commission, and OECD.
