Matthias Wählisch is a Professor and Chair of Distributed and Networked Systems at TU Dresden's Faculty of Computer Science. Previously, he led the Internet Technologies group at Freie Universität Berlin. His research focuses on Internet protocols, network security, mobile networking, IoT, and information-centric networking. He has advised numerous theses and contributed to open-source projects like RIOT OS and CAF_C++ Actor Framework.
