
About
Matthias Plenkmann, born in 1989, is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Duisburg-Essen, and serves as Workshop Leader for Printmaking at the Institute of Art and Art History. His artistic practice spans printmaking (relief, lithography, intaglio), drawing, sculpture, and multimedia site-specific installations, with a focus on digital-analog interfaces and educational applications. He has held regular teaching assignments since 2017 and co-founded the LichtGestalten art project.
