Matthew Wegener

Matthew Wegener is an Associate Professor of Accounting in the Faculty of Business at the University of New Brunswick. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from HEC Montréal and academic degrees from Brock University. His research focuses on corporate social responsibility reporting, environmental disclosures, and the intersection of sustainability with financial reporting. He has won the Best Paper Award (2010) at the Accounting Division conference and has published in journals like Accounting Perspectives.
