Matthew Vesely

Dr. Matthew Vesely is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in immune checkpoint pathways, cancer immunology, and autoimmune skin diseases. His research focuses on novel therapeutic targets in cutaneous malignancies and chronic inflammatory conditions like psoriasis and lupus. He leads the Vesely Lab, leveraging spatial proteomics and transcriptomics to study disease mechanisms. Dr. Vesely holds multiple prestigious awards, including the Young Physician Scientist Award (2025) and has contributed to over 60 peer-reviewed publications. His clinical expertise includes treating psoriasis, eczema, and hidradenitis suppurativa, emphasizing personalized immunotherapies.
