Matthew Turner

Matthew Turner is a Professor of Economics at Brown University, specializing in urban economics, environmental policy, and transportation infrastructure. He teaches courses such as Economics of Climate Change, Urban Economics, and Graduate Urban Economics. His research focuses on urbanization patterns, infrastructure impacts, and environmental adaptation strategies in both developed and developing economies. Recent work includes studies on sewage systems in developing cities, the role of large cities in economic growth, and transportation policy effects on urban sprawl.
