Matthew Pusey

Matthew Pusey is a Lecturer in Quantum Information at the University of York. His research focuses on quantum foundations, contextuality, and the intersection of quantum theory with information science. He holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College London and has held postdoctoral positions at the Perimeter Institute.

Research: Pusey develops frameworks to understand quantum non-classicality through contextuality and Bell inequalities, with applications to quantum computing. His group explores tensor networks and causal structures in quantum systems.
