Matthew Perlman

Matthew Perlman, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at Suffolk University, where he coordinates clinical training programs. His research focuses on enhancing therapist training methodologies, therapist effects, and feedback-informed treatment approaches. Dr. Perlman teaches graduate-level courses including Counseling Theory & Practice, Research Methods, Family Therapy, and Substance Abuse Treatment. He is committed to improving clinical practice through evidence-based education strategies.
