Matthew Mulford

Dr. Matthew Mulford is a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), holding roles as Visiting Senior Fellow in the Department of Methodology, Affiliate Professor at HEC-Paris, and Visiting Faculty at the European School of Management and Technology (Berlin). Previously, he served as Founding Dean of the TRIUM Global Executive MBA program, a collaboration between NYU Stern, HEC Paris, and LSE, which was consistently ranked among the top 5 EMBA programs globally during his leadership. His academic career includes senior roles in quantitative methods and negotiation analysis at LSE.

Research interests focus on decision-making psychology, negotiation strategies, experimental game theory, and research design. He has designed executive training programs in over 20 countries for corporations like Siemens, Total, and governments including the UK National Audit Office. His work extends to governmental agencies, such as advising the UK Home Office on negotiation training and collaborating with the UNDP in Croatia.

Professional contributions include evaluating methodologies for UK government value-for-money studies and leading the TRIUM program’s academic strategy. His expertise bridges academia and industry, emphasizing practical application of decision science in complex organizational contexts.
