Matthew McCourt is an Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Maine at Farmington. His research focuses on cultural geography, GIS, and community sustainability, particularly through the UMF/Rangeley Sustainability Project funded by the Maine Sustainability Solutions Initiative. He teaches courses on landscape studies, GIS, and globalization.
