Matthew Lopas is a Professor in the Art Department at Hendrix College, where he has served since 1999. His artistic practice focuses on immersive, spatial representations that invite viewers to 'inhabit' depicted environments. Recent work includes participation in the June 2023 'panelspheres' exhibition at the Washington Art Association and Gallery, alongside artists Jackie Lima and Mark Lewis.
