Professor Matthew Harding is an international authority on charity law and private law theory at Melbourne Law School. His scholarship examines theoretical foundations of:
- Charitable status and public benefit requirements
- Fiduciary obligations in equity
- Not-for-profit regulatory frameworks
- Private law doctrines and their philosophical underpinnings
